Are your kids bored with the same old family game night? Or have you ditched games all together because no one was really having fun? Bring back a good old-fashioned game night with these awesome family games.

Family Talk (Amazon, $9)

This game will help the family learn all kinds of interesting things about each other. This fun, portable game includes 100 conversation cards, so there's no chance of getting bored! It is easy to play: You simply pick a card, ask the question and get a surprising and often hilarious glimpse into the hearts and minds of your family members. Diverse topics reveal surprising answers, even from reticent teens. The winner of multiple awards, it is a sure hit on game night. According to one player, "The cards engaged the whole family, ages 6–77, and kept us sane during a long car ride in traffic."

Five Crowns (Amazon, $11)

Five Crowns is another family game that gets strong reviews. It has been described as a "fast-paced and ingenious new card game that features a deck with 5 suits instead of the standard 4, adding Stars to Spades, Diamonds, Hearts and Clubs. The unique deck gives you many more options for arranging hands of sets or sequences." A Five Crowns player loved it for her family, saying, "My whole family (which includes my husband, a teenager and a fourth grader) loves Five Crowns. I was looking for a card game we never played before to take along on our vacation. I had to make sure that any new game would be simple enough for my 9-year-old to play, yet be complicated enough to keep my 14-year-old interested. Well, I hit the jackpot with Five Crowns!"

Rollick (Amazon, $20)

If your family likes charades, they will love Rollick. In Rollick, the entire team collaborates to act out clues for one or more persons to guess. It has been described as "a hysterical, fun, fast-paced, team competition game that's an absolute riot at parties, family gatherings, work events, holiday celebrations, with friends, and even loved by teenagers!"

Rollick includes more than 750 clues, including words for younger children, suggestions for large and small groups and other fun variations — no game is ever the same. One new Rollick player said, "We got this game for a family get-together over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a HUGE hit. It's a great game to play with a big group of people. We played with 8 people once, and it was as fun for that group as when we played with 20+. I highly recommend this game."

Wits & Wagers Family (Amazon, $17)

This classic game game is now available for the whole family! Wits & Wagers Family Edition has 300 new family-oriented questions and simplified rules and scoring. This game has been described as being "endlessly playable and enjoyable even though you never get the right answer (at first). The appeal to Wits & Wagers is that it is a trivia game with a slight angle. There is one simple rule: No one knows the answers to the trivia (and they're not supposed to)."

You can’t argue with one player who simply said, "It’s great fun for adults and kids."
